CTP Amendment #4

Narrative
DCHC MPO adopted the Comprehensive Transportation Plan (CTP) in 2017. Amendment #4 includes the following:
- Incorporate NCDOT's Updated Complete Streets Guidelines
- Remove the Durham-Orange Light Rail Transit (D-O LRT) alignment and associated rail stops
- Adjust or remove several future planned roadway segments
- Designate four Transit Emphasis Corridors (TECs) in Durham
A memo outlining the changes from the original draft to the final version is attached.
After the MPO Board adopts CTP Amendment #4, the North Carolina Board of Transportation can adopt the amendment.
MPO staff is beginning work on CTP Amendment #5.
Recommendation
TC Action: Recommended that the MPO Board adopt Amendment #4 to the Comprehensive Transportation Plan (CTP).
