FY2023 Draft Unified Planning Work Program (15 minutes)

Narrative
The DCHC MPO is required by federal regulations to prepare an annual Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) that details and guides the urban area transportation planning activities. Funding for the UPWP is provided by the Federal Highway Administration and the Federal Transit Administration. The UPWP must identify MPO planning tasks to be performed with the use of federal transportation funds.
Attached is a brief presentation outlining key updates to the document since it was previously presented to the MPO Board, including staffing recommendations consistent with the Governance Study.
The proposed schedule for FY2023 UPWP development is as follows: Draft UPWP was reviewed by the Board and released for public comment at their January 2022 meeting. A public hearing will be held at the February 9, 2022 Board meeting. The MPO Board will be recommended to approve the plan at their March 9, 2022 meeting.
