Update on the DCHC MPO Federal Certification Review (5 mins)

Narrative
The Federal Highway Administration and Federal Transit Administration are required to jointly review the metropolitan transportation planning process for Transportation Management Areas (TMA) at least every four years. (TMAs are Metropolitan Planning Organizations with population of 200,000 or above.) This quadrennial review is to ensure that the TMAs are following federal policies, regulations, and procedures in developing the transportation planning process. The federal agencies conducted the DCHC MPO on-site review on May 20, 2019, and will present their official report to the Board later this year. This presentation is an update on the process and preliminary comments.
