Narrative
Per the DCHC MPO Board's by-laws, the Board is to hold an election for the offices of Chair and Vice Chair at its last regularly scheduled meeting of the calendar year. Following the procedure used last year, the Board formed a nominating committee for officers last month. The committee is scheduled to report back this month on its recommendations, and the Board is to hold its vote.
The current officers, Chair Damon Seils of Carrboro and Vice Chair Wendy Jacobs of Durham County, are both completing their first year in their respective roles. The by-laws state that they may each serve one additional year.
