Narrative
The DCHC MPO is required by federal regulations to prepare an annual Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) that details and guides the urban area transportation planning activities. The UPWP identifies MPO planning tasks to be performed with the use of federal transportation funds. Changes to the UPWP budget during the fiscal year requires an amendment approved by the Board. Amendment #3 of the FY2018 UPWP proposes to re-allocate Surface Transportation Block Grant-Direct Attributable (STBG-DA) funds among various task codes for the Town of Carrboro, and de-obligate STBG-DA funds from various task codes as well as re-allocate Section 5303 funds among various task codes for the Town of Chapel Hill. The attached memorandum and resolution with tables provide details.
