Approval of Amendment #9 to the FY2016-25 Transportation Improvement Plan

Narrative
Amendment #9 to the FY2016-25 Transportation Improvement Plan includes two requests from the City of Durham. The first is changes to increase the funding for EB-4707B, Old Chapel Hill/Old Durham Road Bike Lanes, to address increased cost estimates and the re-purposing of a federal earmark that was previously designated for the Duke Belt Line project. The second is a request by NCDOT, through the City of Durham, to program a budget for the upgrade of the City's signal system (U-5968). Previously, this project had only been programmed for a planning and environmental study.
In addition to the requests from the City of Durham, there are five requested modifications from NCDOT and three deletions. A summary list and full report of the changes are included as attachments along with a resolution to be signed by the MPO Board Chair upon approval by the Board.
