Narrative
As NCDOT and its consultant teams complete their feasibility studies for the addition of managed lanes on I-40 and NC-147, concerns have been raised by MPO Board members regarding the equity of this strategy for lower-income users of these roads. LPA staff has drafted a letter expressing these concerns to NCDOT staff responsible for management of any current and future managed lane project.
