FY2020-29 Transportation Improvement Program Amendment #12

Narrative
Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Amendment #12 consists of three categories of
projects:
- Amendments requested by NCDOT through the Item N sheets (included in full report);
- Locally administered program (LAP) projects that will be delayed to FY23; and
- New LAP projects that were awarded Congestion Mitigation Air Quality (CMAQ) funding
this spring.
Because some of the projects that are part of TIP Amendment #12 have a change that is greater than $1M in funding, per the MPO's Public Involvement Plan (PIP), this amendment must be released for a 21-day public comment period before it is adopted.
The MPO Board released TIP Amendment #12 for a 21-day public comment period on August 10, 2022. Since this approval, information for some projects contained in TIP Amendment #12 have been updated by MPO staff and member jurisdictions. The updated summary sheet, full report, and resolution are attached.
