Draft FY2018-2027 STIP Update (10 minutes)

Narrative
The draft FY18-27 STIP was released on December 22, 2016. The Draft STIP for the DCHC MPO is attached. LPA staff has reviewed the draft and compared it to the current FY16-25 STIP. Projects that have either lost funding or had a significant schedule change, as well as new projects, are shown in the attached document.
LPA staff has set up a meeting with NCDOT to review the draft STIP for March 8, 2017 following the MPO Board meeting. On February 10, 2017, an MPO Subcommittee met to review comments and questions to be forwarded to NCDOT staff in prepartion for the March 8 meeting. Those questions and comments have been provided.
LPA staff plans to have the board release the Draft STIP for public comment at the March 8, 2017 MPO Board meeting, and to hold a public hearing at the Board's April 12, 2017 meeting.
