2045 MTP - Schedule and Goals, Objectives, and Performance Measures (15 minutes)

Narrative
The DCHC MPO plans to adopt the 2045 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) by June 2017 to abide by the usual four-year update cycle (the MPO adopted the 2040 MTP in April 2013). Approving the MTP schedule and updating the Goals, Objectives, and Targets are among the first tasks in the MTP process. The near-term schedule is as follows:
• MPO Board and TC members provide input to draft at workshop - January 2016.
• TC updates the schedule and draft documents based on workshop - January 27, 2016.
• MPO Board review and approve revised documents and releases for public comment - February 10, 2016.
Staff presented the draft Goals, Objectives, and Performance Measures to the MPO Board at their December meeting, and discussed the new format. The Board requested an opportunity to review and provide input to the draft document in a workshop type setting, possibly after the January Board meeting.
Attachments to this agenda item include: a copy of the current Goals, Objectives, and Targets from the 2040 MTP process, the 2045 MTP draft schedule, and a table of the proposed Goals, Objectives, and Performance Measures. The proposed table is a draft and the Performance Measures are expected to undergo revisions.
